Panama is a great place to visit, especially if you love to go out and have a good time at night with friends or a loved one. There is so much to see and do and so many places to go that you are sure to find something that fits your taste perfectly. From restaurants and lounges to wine bars and breweries, there is something to do every night and your visit will never become boring. In fact, thanks to the wide variety offered in Panama nightlife, you may just decide to come back and visit again for your next vacation.
If the Casco Viejo area of Panama is your destination, you will be hard pressed to decide where to start. This may just be the home of Panama nightlife. Relic is a personal favorite of many. This is a bar located inside a house. What makes it so special is the fact that it is actually located inside a stone vault which is attached to the historic city wall. This is all located within the home. For variety, check out Paltea, which is decorated in a 1920’s style, The entertainment hangout offers specialty nights such as live jazz night and salsa night. For al fresco dining, visit Mojito’s Grill located in a garden and surrounded by stone wall. The menu is minimalist, but the ambiance cannot be beat.
With the El Cangrejo region, you may wish to start at The Wine Bar before heading to any number of casinos. The Wine Bar features pizza baked in a stone oven, which may be washed down with over 300 wines. A live music trio will entertain you throughout your visit. For those who prefer beer, El Cangrejo offers Istmo Brew Pub. Here an on-site brewer offers all different types of Panama beer as well as imported varieties. If you are just looking for a place to relax with friends, check out Moat. This lounge is laid-back and casual, the perfect place to visit with old friends or make new ones.
Panama nightlife is one reason why many love to visit this country. There is always so much to see and do. Just be forewarned, you most likely will not be able to visit all spots in just one trip. Some will have to wait for a return vacation.

Rene provides a personal friendly travel service in small modern minibuses. He is based in Panama City and adores having the chance to showcase this gorgeous country he calls home. Rene received a degree in Business Administration from the University of Panama in 1979; He began his career as salesperson, rising to Sales Manager. His employer was in the poultry business and he worked there for more than 8 years. Among the highlights of this time was opening and making significant product sales to the U.S. Army Forces in the Canal Zone beginning in 1992. Due to the treaties agreed upon involving Panama and the U.S. back in the late 70s, in 1998 the Southern Command was compelled to leave the country and with them went his career! This has proved to be a blessing for Rene. as he started his new job as an English/Spanish tour guide for all the Americans, Canadians and others visiting my beautiful Republic of Panama.
